Please join us for our first ever Christmas luncheon - a charity fundraising event. In support of this year’s ASHRAE theme of “Securing our Future”, we are raising funds for Mindfuel, a charity that provides STEM outreach and educational programs across North America.

Synopsis:
Bring your friends and colleagues out for a fun charity lunch as we eat, drink, and have a merry good time! With the help of generous donors, we’re putting together a blind auction to bring out your competitive nature and take some risks in raising money for charity. All funds raised will be donated to MindFuel. If you are able to donate a prize for auction, please contact David Lima (david@aquaair.ab.ca) for coordination.

As a registered charity since 1990, they work to ignite a passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) in youth and inspire them to shape our future by becoming the problem-solvers of tomorrow. They encourage youth to take risks, adopt a growth and innovation mindset, build real-world connections, become creative problem-solvers and think critically about the world around them. They also focus on supporting under-represented youth which includes females in STEM, Indigenous, economically disadvantaged, rural/remote communities, and newcomers. Mindfuel’s programming distributes to over 1,600 communities in Canada in all provinces and territories each year.
