Although we have not formally reached the end of the ASHRAE year, with events cancelled for the foreseeable future, we would like to provide a brief financial update.
As of the end of March 2020, the budget deficit is $ 7,313. This is less than the anticipated deficit of $ 13,000 and thus is a success. A majority of this deficit is due to our annual RP contribution of $5,800. Further, end of year events like the Golf Tournament are generally quite profitable. At this point we have tentatively postponed the Golf Tournament to August 20th.
As with previous years, we will provide a full summary of the fiscal year early next ASHRAE year.
